Sponge, mask, and stencil

Hello all, it's weekend already. It is the Mid-autumn festival. So long weekend here, yesterday was a holiday.

I made this card yesterday, after looking at the TIME OUT picture, and you all know that I love Maple leaves, particularly sponging those with distress inks.

I chose my hand cut maple leaf stencil, and placed it in the center of the panel and sponged using my standard fall distress inks - fired brick, mustard seed, vintage photo, forest moss, and twisted citron. I change the colors depending on the look I am aiming for.
Once the sponging was done, I masked the leaf, and used ARTplorations bubble stencil with hickory smoke. Then I used circles and hoops from HLS - Mix mash set, to stamp in white and Lawn Fawn's grey hippo ink to create a bokeh.
I used the sentiment from Uniko's latest free digi. I had it printed already with me. I framed it with a grey glitter paper for some dimension, added a few jewels to finish it off.
Very pleased with this card, I hope you all like it too.
